"I'd like to share Christ, but I just don't know how!"
When God gives you an opportunity, just smile, pull out a copy of If We Never Meet Again or What If No One Warned You? and say, "Here's something I think you'll enjoy reading!"

"All our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told." Psalm 90:9
Reading that, I couldn't help but remember my childhood. When the newspaper was delivered to our home, I couldn't wait to read the comics. At the end of each comic strip were three little words..."to be continued." The next day I could look forward to another version of my favorite comic strip. David says that's the way we spend our years. We assume those words will be written across our lives at the end of each day..."to be continued." But one day it will read "THE END." Our "moment in time" will have been spent. We should ask ourselves, "How are we spending our time?"
How true are the words of that old gospel song..."We have this moment to hold in our hands, and to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand. Yesterday's gone, and tomorrow may never come...but WE HAVE THIS MOMENT TODAY." Soon our time is gone forever, and cannot be reclaimed, relived, or recalled...it is banished in time! How important is each moment, made precious when invested with those we love or shared to encourage someone in their time of need. Do we "consider the time" God has given us to invest in eternity? When with friends we often say, "What a wonderful time we had, how blessed and inspiring it was." It was a time we invested wisely, graciously, and thoughtfully.
Time is the most important commodity we have, yet it is probably the one thing we give least consideration to. How many times we have done things and afterward have said, "What a waste of time!" We did not use our time to benefit others or ourselves we did not invest our time wisely. We just squandered away what was most valuable to us without thought, consideration, or concern--"a moment in time."
All of our life can radically change "in a moment of time!" One of our dear friend's grandson was in a devastating accident. Only by the grace of God he was not instantly killed. Both of his legs were severely crushed and broken. Only 17 years old, a promising basketball career for a six foot seven young man, and still growing. He will not play basketball again! He will never be the same. A tragedy caused by a careless arrogant attitude that said..."It won't happen to me!" BUT IT DID! "in a moment of time!"
I remember how unsettling the words were when my urologist said..."You have prostate cancer!" In that moment my whole life took on a different perspective. TIME became very precious to me! BUT GOD!...gave me a precious verse from Psalm 94:19: "When anxiety was great within me" [as I thought of all the ramifications of cancer] "your consolations brought joy to my soul."
God focused my heart on HIM, not on the problem. HE was in control of the circumstances, and my life. Someone asked me, "Did you change the way you were living after that?" I said, "No, because I live each day seeking to please and glorify my Lord. I will continue to live as I have been. My time is in HIS hand."
What about you? Maximize the time God is giving you. Life is uncertain...we have no promise of tomorrow...eternity is forever! Make certain your eternity will be spent in Heaven, and live each "MOMENT IN TIME" to the glory and praise of HIS NAME.
