"I'd like to share Christ, but I just don't know how!"
When God gives you an opportunity, just smile, pull out a copy of If We Never Meet Again or What If No One Warned You? and say, "Here's something I think you'll enjoy reading!"

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1
To understand the incredible high and holy concept of God as the eternal Creator of all things is an inexhaustible venture. We who are finite are trying to conceive of God, who is infinite. We who are created are trying to understand the Creator, who is boundless! Even trying to think through the first three words, "In the beginning," frustrates our imagination. We reach out beyond the seen, to the unseen, beyond what we can observe, investigate, and is natural to the realm of the spiritual and supernatural. It takes us beyond the element of the passing, to the realm of the permanent...beyond the temporal to the eternal...from the finite to the infinite. And we haven't even scratched the surface.
"I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Can you conceive of that? Before the beginning of time, God already was. He is separate from all things, yet involved in all things. He had no origin. He is eternal. He always was. He will always be. We cannot comprehend this great foundational truth, but by faith, we can believe it. "Before the mountains were brought forth, or even thou hast formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God." It is one thing to give mental assent to this truth, but quite another to have it grasp our imagination, completely astound our understanding, and radically influence our lives.
God's ability to create is to bring into existence something that never was. It is not putting together things to form something new. "Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which appear." God spoke time out of eternity, existence out of non-existence, and material out of immaterial. He spoke, and immediately there were earth, plants, stars, water, land, flowers, and beasts. The mighty creative act of God summoned our universe into existence. ONLY GOD CAN CREATE!
Scientists make statements about the earth being five billion years old, because it has to be at least that old to explain the existence of oil, coal, diamonds, and other materials that develop over millions of years. Scientists omit the supernatural attributes of God. They fail to see that God created the earth with the maturity of age. It is important to realize that God created. It was not necessary for things to evolve. This is evident by the fact that God brought forth a man and a woman who were mature from their first existence. By the might of His power, God created the entire universe as a complete, fully operational and functioning mechanism.
To try to think about God as Creator is beyond our imagination. We must cry out with David when we think of all these things: "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Then exclaim, "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable, boundless, inconceivable." Recognize the inconceivable greatness of God and be eternally thankful for His condescending love to us. To God be the glory!
